Great American cities wouldn’t be as great without the uniquely American architectural design of some of their most famous edifices. Cities with the Best Architecture, according to some.
For example, the architecture of Chicago is considered world class and has had a considerable influence on much of America’s architecture. And New York easily comes to mind with the Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge, the MET, to name a few. Boston, little in respect to its population, (650,000 compared to NYC 8.4M), has the Beaux-Arts Boston Public Library and Old State House.
But right here in our back yard we have San Francisco, perhaps one of the most beautiful skylines in America and some of the most beautiful buildings. Some examples, include the iconic Transamerica Building, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Legion of Honor, the Fairmont and of course the bridge.
