The owners wanted to remodel their home from the existing ranch to a craftsman style.  This style of home often encompasses natural materials, such as stone, shingle siding, and open porches with overhanging beams and rafters.

Our addition was made forward, meaning brought towards the front of the house  – closer to the street.  It still left plenty of room to feel set back from street life.  And the garage stayed where it was – we just changed the doors to fit with rest of the façade.

On the left side of the house we added a new master bedroom, entry and home office, and redesigned the existing bedrooms… more to come about this.  We also upgraded the home’s heating and cooling system – it was way over due!
